We stayed for 1 night on a long-distance car journey from the Eurotunnel to Faro in Portugal. Covid was disrupting everything... but the staff were very good and very accommodating, the hotel looks great, and so was the room! Excellent overall in very difficult circumstances.
Location is excellent for a stop-off on a north-south (and reverse) road trip in Spain. (Costa del Sol to Santander) I expect it would be a fabulous place in "normal" times. The staff were very helpful!
I little bit pricey for the restaurant... but the food was very good! Try the black pudding!

The hotel is very stylish and luxury. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The hotel rooms were nice and warm during cold weather.
The major problem is the restaurant which does not open until 9pm. When you have driven 900kms its too late to eat and there is NO room service. A Bar snack is however available and is popular with locals as the cakes are apparantly very good-however this is not a substitute for a proper meal. We discussed this with other Brits staying at the hotel and they totally agreed with our thoughts. We may not stay at the Landa again if we have to wait until 9pm, always after a long drive.

We loved everything! Beautiful 14th century castle. Delightful attention to detail! Staff very friendly. Rooms exquisite with beautiful linen. Bar area very comfortable and restaurant a must.
Difficult to access due to the motorways (autovia) built up around it, nightmare! But we'll worth persevering!
